badly over due update
Everything i have is now painted and ready to go. now added a death copany squad and a death company drednaught.

Been a bit busy with work and neglected the army. got one assault marine nearly finished and the rhino i bought is assembled awaiting basecoat.

assault squad all in red
I have got all the squad fitted with magnets where i wanted and under coated in red. I fitted the sergent to allow both his arms to be changed depending on if i want close combat or range and the rest of the squads back packs can be swaped to non jump packs too. pics to follow.
assault and magnet fun
Well i built up the assault squad men and fittied the jump packs with magnets so i can swap them with normal ones. still undecided on the sergents wepons and if i want have 4 with bolt pistols or not, but i finished and undercoated the other 3.
time for some additions
Well post man had some goodies for me today in the form of a 5 man assault squad and some 3mm dia magnets. They should keep me buy for a while
The tactical squad is all finished apart from the base on the flamer guy and i have started to detail the land speeder. Decided i would add some colour to my guys by adding in some orange to the more meaty wepons to make them stand out. i'll get some photos up in a bit.
tactical squad 1 nearing completion
My first tactical squad is nearly compleate just some minor touch ups needed. No doubt i will come back to them aswell as im learning some great techniques to give more detail. the shading is an ongoing task as i seem to get bored easy doing it, must try and streamline it a bit.
Got my next asault squad on order now allong with some 3mm magnets. Hopefully i will be able to magnatise the jump packs and maby some of the wepons to give me a bit more flexability. oh and got myself a chaplin with jump pack. Still cant find the driver for my attack bike but i have found the gunner for the land speeder so i still have some work to be getting on with.
Army is back
Dug out my old blood angels 40k army so figured a build site would be a decent way to increase my web design skills at the same time. So far i have a half painted 10 man tactical squad, a nearly finished attack bike with MIA driver and a land speeder with MIA gunner. so the hunt is on to find them to beef out my army. looking into what are the best choices for me as far as troops, so im sure there will be some purchases in the near future.
